Meet Our Panelists:

Sandy Lawrence, PfMP, PgMP, PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Consultant, PMI Contributor, Author, Instructor

Sandy Hoath Lawrence has delivered powerful results in more than 5 diverse industries, from start-up organizations to mature corporations, Federal Agencies, and military commands for the better part of four decades.  Currently semi-retired, she works as an author, instructor, consultant, and a willing contributor of expertise when it comes to helping people, start-ups, and structured organizations transform and transition in order to reach and exceed their goals.  Her volunteer focus has been primarily with the Project Management Institute (PMI), where she has been a member for over 15 years serving at both the chapter and global levels; she holds the Emeritus Board position at the PMI Chapter of Tampa Bay. She graduated from the PMI Leadership Institute Master Class in 2011 and in 2012, was honored to be the LIMC Advisor for the EMEA class.

Her passion and appreciation for the military gave cause for her to write and co-publish four books aimed at helping military members transition into the corporate workforce; specifically, in the areas of Project Management, Logistics, IT, and Cybersecurity. She has dedicated the last 4 years of her free time to launch a grass roots effort within PMI to recognize and launch the Military Liaison program – to help military in their quest for project management careers and knowledge. She’s very happy to say that this personal effort has resulted in PMI global to formally accept the military liaison program and that over 60 PMI chapters in the US and 2 in Canada now have military liaisons.
