Topic: Targeting your Transition - The art and science of making your job journey successful
Are you thinking of a job change? Is it within your existing company or do you want to make a complete change? No matter how small or drastic of a job change, this presentation is for you! Sandy walks you through steps to consider when evaluating a job transition. Steps include soft assessments which, when combined, reveal pivotal steps to take for the most successful transition. This presentation is based upon transition steps covered in her Military Transition books co-authored with Jay Hicks, and training sessions “Targeting Your Transition”.

Sandy Hoath Lawrence has delivered powerful results in more than 5 diverse industries, from start-up organizations to mature corporations, Federal Agencies, and military commands for the better part of four decades. Sandy has a Bachelors in MIS and a Masters in Curriculum and Technology from USF. Her credentials include: PMP, PgMP, PfMP, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
She currently owns and operates Monster Smarts, dedicated to offering individual career coaching to those wanting the best journey life can offer, as well as helping small to medium organizations work to assess and deliver prescriptive recommendations for improvement on profitability, process, efficiency, and employee health.
Sandy works as an author, instructor, consultant, and a willing contributor of expertise when it comes to helping people, start-ups, and structured organizations transform and transition in order to reach and exceed their goals. Her volunteer focus has been primarily with the Project Management Institute (PMI), where she has been a member for over 15 years serving at both the chapter and global levels. She graduated from the PMI Leadership Institute Master Class in 2011 and in 2012, was honored to be the LIMC Advisor for the EMEA class.
Her passion and appreciation for the military gave cause for her to co-author four books through GR8Transitions4U aimed at helping military transition into the corporate workforce; specifically, in the areas of Project Management, Logistics, IT, and Cybersecurity. She has dedicated the last 4 years of her time to launch a grass roots effort within PMI to recognize and launch the Military Liaison program – to help military in their quest for project management careers and knowledge.Register Now
