Karin Hurt, CEO, Let's Grow Leaders

As a keynote speaker, leadership consultant, and MBA professor, Karin helps leaders improve business results by building deeper trust and connection with their teams. A former Verizon Wireless executive, she has over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and human resources.

David Dye, CEO, Trailblaze, Inc.

A former nonprofit executive, elected official, and award-winning author, David understands the challenges, headaches, and tensions business leaders face every day – and he also knows the rewards you will experience when you lead well. David shares his expertise in leadership and employee engagement through books, keynotes, workshops, consulting, and coaching.

Karin's and David's book, Winning Well is focuses on You CAN love your job again.

It can feel like a rigged game. Executives set aggressive goals, so managers drive their teams to burnout trying to deliver. Or, employees seek connection and support, so managers focus on relationships . . . and fail to make the numbers. The fallout is stress, frustration, and disengagement, and not just among team members--two-thirds of managers report being disengaged.

To succeed, managers cannot choose between results and relationships. They need both: They must get people to achieve while creating an environment that makes them truly want to. Winning Well offers managers a quick, practical action plan--complete with examples, stories, and online assessments. They will learn how to:

Stamp out the corrosive win-at-all-costs mentality - Focus on the game, not just the score - Reinforce behaviors that produce results - Sustain energy and momentum - Correct poor performance without drama - Build productive relationships - Be the leader people want to work for

Today's hypercompetitive economy has created tense, overextended workplaces. Keep it productive, rewarding, and even fun with this one-stop success kit.

Joe's book You Can Fix The World is about our world needing people to tell the truth and that needs to happen now. Someone has to stand up, put people on the spot and tell it like it is. If we don't, we will continue to spiral down a path that doesn't lead to a good place. What would happen if several million people had the skills to expose the truth about issues that plague our country and the world and knew how to fix the problems?

I have written a book that will fix the world. This book doesn't detail the problems of society nor does it analyze the effects of bad decisions. It is a "How To" guide that shows exactly what needs to be done to fix any problem that has a solution. It is written so anyone can use the techniques described and it doesn't require a college degree, money, or political connections. Readers will learn simple methods for exposing the truth, finding solutions to most of the world's problems and implementing them today, not ten years in the future. These are bold statements and I don't expect you to believe me, so read the book and prove me wrong. Whether you believe me or not, you will not be able to deny the truths this book will deliver.

I am totally convinced that people are fed up and are searching for the formula that will fix what is wrong with our world. I believe with the right tools they will be successful because of the following:

  1. There are more good people in the world than bad.
  2. Right is always better than wrong.
  3. People want to know the truth.
  4. Good people will act against what's wrong when they know the truth.

Wayne's book, Project Management ROI, is an exclusive portal to the methods and tools the ROI Institute uses to determine return on investment in project management.

To survive this modern age of financially skeptical "show me the ROI" investors, it is a crucial step for companies to develop an effective project management strategy in order to stay ahead of the curve and achieve success. Project Management ROI takes the guesswork out of determining how to monetarily value projects by teaching the time-tested Return on Investment (ROI) methodology. It presents these results-based concepts in a methodical, reproducible manner that project managers, executives, and analysts can use as a validated reference for future projects. This book focuses on an array of measures to forecast project value and collect data during and after implementation, including reaction, learning, application and implementation, impact, return on investment, and intangibles. Project Management ROI:

  • Is the first book from the renowned ROI Institute to focus on project management ROI

  • Provides both the tools and methodology for measuring the ROI of project management investments

  • Will help project managers discover the value of specific project management solutions to justify project expenditures.
